This is a new role and in the first year, you will work with the Outside In team to develop an appropriate sales strategy and identify the best sales opportunities that reflect the core mission of the charity to support those artists facing barriers to the art world. This will include determining the best environments for selling work, assessing and selecting artwork for sale, developing a digital presence and e-commerce platform for Outside In's commercial arm, Studio OI, as well as building a community of collectors interested in the work of our artists. In the second year you will work with Outside In's team to set the new sales strategy in motion and to promote and sell artists' work through our website, art fairs, exhibitions and other events. Working closely with other members of Outside In, particularly the Exhibitions and Artist Development teams, you will manage and develop selling opportunities and develop a future sales strategy for Outside In's artists that will include both online and in-person exhibitions. You'll be working within a team of skilled and experienced staff and will be line managed by Outside In's Director. This role includes an opportunity to be mentored by one of our Trustees who is an independent art advisor.
