These items vary from framed works and sculptures of different materials, weights and sizes. This role is offered on a flexible freelance basis. 10 years of operational or manual work experience in art, interiors or similar industry.
Highly proficient in Microsoft software packages including word and excel, and email applications.
Excellent general IT and software skills, and quick to learn new software and features.
Excellent communication skills essential for duties such as note taking and giving task updates.
Friendly, conscientious, uses own initiative, can organise and prioritise own workload.
Access to a van for UK-based deliveries.
Experience with ordering crates, booking shipments - UK-based, Europe and international with couriers such as DHL as well as air/ road/ sea freight.

Willingness to travel within UK and to global sites

Experience with creating condition reports.
Answer technical queries relating to art handling, packing and installation.
Follow detailed procedures to ensure every piece is protected and presented flawlessly.
Ability to problem solve and be pro-active in finding solutions to technical problems that unexpectedly arise.
Experience installing artworks including marking locations, security fixings etc and ability to change fixings.
