£13,860 per annum (pro rata of £31,500 FTE) Wednesday to Friday, 8.30am-4.30pm | Term time only, 35 weeks per year Emanuel School is looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Art Technician to support the day-to-day running of its Art Department. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting students and teaching staff across a broad range of disciplines, including printmaking, ceramics, painting, photography and sculpture. Working closely with the Head of Art and teaching team, you will prepare materials and equipment for lessons, help ensure workshops and studios run smoothly, manage specialist art resources and equipment, and contribute to exhibitions and displays of student work. You will also play an important role in the department's printmaking and 3D work, including supporting ceramics from processing through to firing and finishing. About you You will ideally have a degree-level qualification in visual art or a printmaking-related subject, or equivalent practical experience, together with experience of supporting art workshops or teaching within an educational setting. You will bring a strong understanding of art materials and technical processes, excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, and the confidence to work safely with specialist equipment.
