"WEST" Youth Zone, named Where Everyone Sticks Together by local young people, opened on April this year. At WEST, we believe all young people in West London should have the opportunity to discover their passion and their purpose and be able to explore where it can take them. The arts offer at WEST is wide-ranging and includes visual arts, music, media, dance and drama. As a member of the Arts Team, you will be key in ensuring young people have access to an exciting and creative arts programme that will be challenging, stimulating, fun, engaging and developmental. Ideally, you will have experience delivering one or more of the following arts: Textiles or fashion, Garment Customisation, Sewing, Crocheting, Knitting Clay, Ceramics, Glazing, Moulding, Woodwork, Sculpture Fine art, oil painting, watercolour, oil pastel, sketching and drawing Digital art, animation, design, grafitti, set design, photography Please note that to be successful, you do not need to be proficient in every area of the artform, we are interested in seeing the skills and experience you can bring to WEST! Youth workers plan and deliver high quality youth work that supports young people in their personal, social and educational development. The role will require you to assist with Juniors (8 - 12 yrs) and/or Seniors (13 - 19 yrs) and/or Beyond (members with additional needs up to 25 yrs) This is a permanent part-time role, paid monthly in line with London Living Wage (£13.15 p/h) raising by the end of April.
