Description

Job Summary

As a musical instrument Tutor for ArtForms you’ll thrive on seeing your pupils progress and evolve through their musical engagement with their school and beyond.

Job Description

As a musical instrument Tutor you'll use your own skills and experience to inspire and develop your pupils, helping them to progress with their own chosen instrument as well as developing their wider musical understanding. You will also make them aware of and encourage engagement with wider playing opportunities such as school based ensembles or, where appropriate, City of Leeds Youth Music groups.

The role is integral to our offer to Leeds schools and academies; ArtForms has a relationship with the majority of educational settings in Leeds and our teaching team are the foundation of all we do for those sites.

This role includes teaching instrumental lessons in both a small group and whole class setting. There is also the opportunity to conduct some of our youth ensembles during the evening. Experience in both whole class and ensemble leading is desirable.
