Artist Commission - Public Art in Basingstoke and Deane, Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council

Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council is inviting proposals from an experienced artist or artist collective to design, create, and install a new piece of public art.

We are looking for an artist with a strong track record of delivering public art commissions from concept through to installation.

The commissioned artwork should:

• Be family-friendly and welcoming to all ages
• Demonstrate environmental sensitivity
• Be made from durable, natural materials
• Include a meaningful community engagement element

Budget: Up to £15,000 (+VAT)
Deadline for installation: Friday 5 December 2025
