We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Artists & Events Project Manager. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating and producing our landmark Change the Scene project in 2026.

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Artists & Events Project Manager. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating and producing our Change the Sceneproject. This landmark programme will showcase our artists throughout 2026, delivering a national tour across 10 towns and cities plus 4 major festivals and launching an accessible gig toolkit. The Project Manager will also manage delivery of our core music workshops and live events, as well as other short-term projects and work in development.

This role manages the Music Leader Freelance team and collaborates closely with the Marketing & PR Manager as well as the Leisure Link and Gig Buddies Project Managers. They will work closely with Club Soda's Advisory Board and wider Club Soda community to ensure people with learning disabilities are at the heart of creative decision making for the charity.

The role is part-time 3 days per week (equivalent to 24hrs per week) and it is a 12 month contract with scope to extend.

Job Requirements

  1. To lead the delivery of all live events in the Change the Scene project including external gigging opportunities and partnerships.
  2. To oversee the coordination and running of Club Soda workshops and music projects.
  3. To support the Director to deliver the charity's Business Plan, working alongside the charity's trustees and advisory board to ensure that the charity has a 'user-run' focus.
  4. To work alongside the Marketing & PR Manager to deliver an effective audience development and communications strategy for Change the Scene, ensuring our artists, events, and resources are visible, celebrated, and accessible.
  5. To help us lead the movement for inclusion and visibility in Croydon's creative scene.
  6. To support the Director in reporting back to funders by gathering evidence on the impact of projects and events on participants, collaborating artists and audiences.
