Assistant Collection Manager: Loans and Display, The British Museum

About the role:

Assistant Collection Managers in the Loans & Display team are responsible for all practical aspects of care and preservation of the world-renowned collection of the British Museum. As an Assistant Collection Manager: Loans and Display Framed Works, the post holder will work as part of a small team responsible for the framing, handling, packing and installation of 2D objects but will also contribute to other aspects of collection care across the museum. Working in relation to the British Museum's exhibitions programme and loans to venues in the UK and internationally. Previous Framing experience is essential for this primarily technical role. Problem solving is a key aspect of the role, and a flexible approach to working is essential.
