Demonstrable experience in assistant general management, producing, company management, or production coordination within theatre or live events.
Experience supporting teams and working with freelance artists and creatives.
Excellent organisational, administrative, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Experience supporting budgets, contracts, schedules, and production logistics.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a proactive and flexible approach.
Confidence liaising with artists, venues, and external partners.
A passion for theatre and live performance, with a commitment to inclusive and high-quality work.
Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to remain calm under pressure..
Knowledge of industry agreements and bodies (Equity, BECTU, MU, UK Theatre).
Experience supporting international touring or transatlantic productions.
Familiarity with visas, licensing, and statutory compliance processes.Job Responsibilities
Line-manage Production Assistants as delegated, supporting their day-to-day workload, development, and wellbeing.
Foster clear communication, efficient workflows, and a positive team culture within the producing department.
Act as a key point of contact for artists, creative teams, venues, and production partners as appropriate.
Support production planning, scheduling, and delivery across rehearsals, previews, performances, workshops, and events.
Support company responsibilities including meet & greets, press nights, and special events.
Maintain and update production documentation, including the Production Information Chart, schedules, and contact lists.
Draft, issue, and track contracts for cast, creatives, and collaborators.
Support the monitoring of production and departmental budgets, tracking expenditure and flagging variances.
