Black Lives Natter are recruiting a part-time Assistant Producer (Access) to support a neurodiverse director, coordinate creative programmes, ensure accessibility, and assist the production team. Ideal for organised, community-minded, and detail-oriented candidates.
Role Purpose
We are seeking an Assistant Producer (Access) to support the delivery of Black Lives Natter's creative programmes, ensuring accessibility, smooth operations, and strong engagement with our communities. This role is key to making our events inclusive, well-managed, and impactful, and involves working closely with and supporting a neurodiverse Director, and an understanding & knowledge of SEN and Access Support practices.
Contract Details
- £14 per hour
- 8 hours per week (40 weeks per year)
- Fixed-term (dependent on funding outcome)
- Hybrid working: remote and on-site attendance at events required
- Start Date: 25th November 2025 End Date: 25th November 2026
Funding Note
This post is offered on a fixed-term basis and is dependent on the outcome of a Project Grant application submitted in September 2025. A decision is expected in early November 2025.

- Assist with planning, programming, coordination, and delivery of workshops, performances, and events
- Support accessibility and inclusion requirements across programmes
- Assist in research and development for projects and programmes
- Maintain accurate participant records, including evaluation and feedback data
- Coordinate and communicate with freelance creatives and volunteers
- Manage diary, emails, and general correspondence
- Support casting processes as required
- Assist in community outreach, fostering, and maintaining relationships with participants, partners, and collaborators
- Attend production meetings, both remotely and in person, including monthly team production meetings
- Attend and assist at BLN events, pop-ups, workshops, and other community events as required
- Support and work alongside a neurodiverse Director, helping ensure smooth project delivery
- Assist with social media, communications, and ticketing support as required
- Experience working in community arts, theatre, or a similar creative sector
- Experience working with neurodiverse creatives and supporting neurodiverse colleagues
- Knowledge of SEN and Access Support Practice
- Understanding of accessibility, inclusion, and community engagement best practices
- Organised, methodical, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable working with a diverse range of participants
- IT literate and confident using Google Drive, Canva, social media platforms, and ticketing systems
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Flexible, with the ability to work both remotely and on-site as required
