We facilitate inclusive spaces for reflection, connection, and awareness-building in order to prevent emotional role strain, support mental health, and promote care and equity at work. Our offers include wellbeing check in services, training & events and reflective practice groups and equity & wellbeing consultancy What we're looking for As Only Human continues to grow, we are looking to expand our pool of associate practitioners. We are on the look out for people with a range of different skills to match the diverse range of projects we have to offer. Skills such as facilitation, public speaking, counselling, supervision, mindfulness practice and creative arts are all parts of our work. Practitioners must be based in Greater Manchester We are a creative health organisation built on care, community and equity. This means that we are particularly interested in working with practitioners who share this ethos as well as have a knowledge of what it means to work in an inclusive way. We are particularly interested in hearing from practitioners with training in anti-racism, LGBTQI+ affirmative practice, cultural humility, neurodiversity and trauma-informed practice. If you are a creative health practitioner, artist, counsellor, clinical supervisor or wellbeing professional who believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to feel well in all parts of their lives, we want to hear from you. Greater Manchester Base: Based in Greater Manchester with ability to deliver in-person across local cultural, municipal, and corporate venues. Facilitation & Space-Holding: Proven experience facilitating group reflection, creative health workshops, or wellbeing spaces in non-clinical settings. Trauma-Informed & Inclusive Practice: Applied training/knowledge in trauma-informed care, anti-racism, neurodiversity-affirming approaches, or LGBTQI+ affirmative practice. Professional Safeguards: Holds active Public Liability & Professional Indemnity insurance, an Enhanced DBS, and relevant professional membership (or equivalent practice experience). Self-Employed Status: Registered as a freelance sole trader/LLC, responsible for managing own tax, National Insurance, and scheduling. Co-Facilitation & Room Containment: Partner with the Lead Facilitator to co-deliver reflective practice labs, ensuring high safety standards, active listening, and group containment. Session Preparation & Logistics: Review workshop frameworks, materials, and participant briefs ahead of sessions to ensure seamless delivery and room setup. Participant Support: Hold compassionate, grounding space for participants navigating workplace emotional role strain, secondary trauma, and burnout dynamics. Post-Session Debriefing & Insights: Participate in practitioner debriefs with Only Human leadership to feed back key qualitative insights and safeguard room dynamics. Administrative & Freelance Management: Maintain clear communication, submit timely invoices, manage personal calendar commitments, and adhere to Only Human's associate terms and safeguarding policies.
