Are you passionate about telling stories? Are you ready to take that passion to the next level? We are seeking an Audience Engagement Assistant to join the teams at Lincoln Arts Centre and Barbican Creative Hub as part of our Routes In scheme, funded by Arts Council England.
Lincoln Arts Centre is part of the University of Lincoln, and is a vibrant space dedicated to contemporary performance and visual arts. We're committed to developing new talent, encouraging innovation, and supporting the next generation of artists. Barbican Creative Hub is a newly refurbished creative industries hub where creative practice, collaboration, and new ideas come to life. This is a great entry-level role perfect for someone starting their career. In this role, you'll be working closely with our marketing teams to create engaging, creative and dynamic marketing campaigns to help us reach audiences across Lincoln and beyond! These roles are designed for someone at the beginning of their career and we strongly recommend people from underrepresented groups and backgrounds to apply. We recognise that previous barriers to work mean you may not have taken a traditional career route. Job role is 22.5 hours per week, with working patterns agreed upon employment.
Increase awareness of the University of Lincoln's cultural assets and activity across a range of venues and programmes, primarily Lincoln Arts Centre and the Barbican Creative Hub, through digital channels including their websites and social media. Support the Development and Communications Manager and Barbican Marketing Co-ordinator to plan and deliver digital campaigns, and monitor and evaluate their impact.
Support the Development and Communications manager to deliver communication plans Help maintain and monitor all digital channels including X, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and our website. As directed, create content for social media channels Understand the venue's values driven brand identity and use the brand guidelines. Regularly talk with key members of the arts centre team and other staff members from across the university. Develop awareness of other organisations across the city and county and maintain a network to assist in digital communication. Support the Development and Communications Manager to liaise with visiting companies and artists to support their marketing initiatives and co-ordinate collaborative marketing campaigns where appropriate. Support the Development and Communications Manager and Barbican Marketing Co-ordinator to maintain a network of print, publications, and sites for promotional use.
