Description

Job Summary

Transformation Partnership is searching for outstanding ballet educators to help deliver one of the most ambitious and life‑changing cultural education programmes in Britain.

Job Description

Ballet Teacher (April - July 2026)

£50 per hour + expenses - 4-8 hours per week (dependent on post-holder availability)
12 week FTC - Self employed

Last year, following 12 weeks of intensive training, our young dancers performed an abridged production of Romeo & Juliet (Prokofiev) alongside professional artists at Birmingham Symphony Hall, accompanied by a live 50 piece orchestra. A moment that expanded horizons, ignited confidence, and proved what children can achieve when given extraordinary opportunities.

In 2026, we're raising the bar even higher.

If you are a passionate, highly skilled ballet teacher who believes in the power of the arts to transform lives, we want you on our team.

The Role

As a Ballet Teacher with Transformation Partnership, you will:

  • Deliver exceptional classical ballet lessons to children aged 8-16 across state schools in the West Midlands
  • Teach a wide range of abilities, including beginners
  • Bring energy, imagination, and high artistic standards to every session
  • Create project teaching plans and contribute to assessment and evaluation
  • Work collaboratively with our Lead Practitioner and a team of other inspiring ballet educators
  • Support learners to develop discipline, confidence, creativity, and a deep love of ballet
  • Play a key role in preparing learners for a fully staged, 60 minute abridged ballet production on performance day @ Birmingham Symphony Hall on 8th & 9th July 2026 (additional fee paid)

This is a chance to shape a transformative artistic journey for children and young people who may never otherwise access high quality ballet education.
