  • Salary: £28,000 - £32,000
  • Basis: Full Time/ (35 hours per week)
  • Weeks: 52 weeks
  • Start Date: 5 January 2026
  • Reporting to: Marketing Manager
  • Location: Big Creative Academy, Clifton Avenue, E17 6HL
  • Annual leave: 30 days per annum

Job Requirements

Principal Accountabilities:

  • To develop and deliver a coherent suite of activities with schools to support cross-BCE student recruitment. This is a project management role and requires a proactive approach.
  • Work with the student recruitment team, curriculum team and students to provide exciting activities for ages 13-16 in feeder schools
  • To build and manage relationships with identified feeder schools, ensuring we provide an effective service in meeting their statutory careers requirements
  • To promote and celebrate BCE to all stakeholders, driving engagement
  • To enhance the reputation of Big Creative Education regionally and locally
  • Together with the Schools Outreach Manager and wider marketing and recruitment team, to ensure all activities are effectively monitored and evaluated, leading to continuous improvement

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Organise the delivery of events both inside and outside the college, including travel, resources and support materials. Communication plans must be clear, ensuring that deadlines are met.
  • Develop and plan activities for young people in schools (Years 9, 10, 11) to enhance their knowledge and understanding of creative courses for post-16 and creative careers
  • Deliver successful workshops and events to both meet schools' careers requirements and drive student recruitment for BCE courses
  • Co-ordinate with curriculum staff and students to deliver a range of exciting activities for young people in schools
  • Understand the statutory careers requirements and Provider Access Legislation for schools and work closely with Careers Leads in feeder schools to ensure their students can access courses in the creative arts
  • Understand the skills landscape in the creative industries, with the ability to articulate skills gaps to young people and parents
