About the role

We are seeking a proactive and organised Project Coordinator who will be responsible for supporting the BIPC National Network partner libraries, through:

  • Managing relationships with the BIPC Network partner libraries - ensuring they are meeting the BIPC standard service level, and establishing a plan of support where issues arise
  • Supporting the continued growth of the BIPC Network, in particular to the devolved nations of the UK; identifying relevant stakeholders and contacts, working with the BIPC Network Manager and colleagues to devise a plan for the roll out, and initiating the process for inviting new libraries to apply.
  • Updating, refining and creating new documentation and processes as required by the Network (e.g. BIPC Blueprint, Collaboration Agreements, application forms etc)
  • Updating partner Collaboration Agreements and ensuring they are in place with each BIPC, liaising with partner libraries and BL Legal and Contract services
  • Searching for funding opportunities using the funding alert platform and alerting partner libraries to opportunities in a timely manner. To establish a 'funding library', pulling together relevant documents (e.g. past bids, supplementary information, guides and tools) to support future bidding opportunities for the National Network
  • Maintaining budget monitoring and finance processes, raising requisitions and liaising with finance business partner to review quarterly expenditure
  • Supporting the team's project management systems and processes, including reviewing and updating the PID at the start of new project stages, devising work packages and maintaining the risk and issues register.
