Bronze Chaser, Cox Workshops Ltd

This position is ideal for an experienced Bronze Chaser familiar with bronze, who has served time chasing in a fine art bronze foundry or similarly skilled workshop environment. As an experienced bronze technician, you will be responsible for producing high quality functional interior pieces from bronze castings produced in the Cox London Bronze foundry as well as expected to diligently chase and fabricate Cox London pieces with high quality and adhering to specifications, ensuring timely completion.

Skills and Behaviours (essential):

• 3 years minimum working with bronze

• Great team working ethic/attitude

• TIG welding (essential)

• Hand tools (air and electric)

• Understanding of the whole lost wax process

• Accurate measuring capabilities

• Passionate for all things metal and sculptural

• Perceptive, organised, reliable with a head for problem solving

Skills and Behaviours (desirable):

• Soft and silver soldering
