MTB Exams is one of the UK's fastest-growing music examination boards. Since launching our first Ofqual-regulated qualifications in 2019, we have grown from a start-up into an international examination board working with thousands of exam centres across the UK and overseas. We are looking for a Business Development & Relationship Manager to help grow our network of active exam centres across the UK and Europe. This is a relationship-led commercial role focused on teachers, schools, music services and music education organisations. The role can be full-time or part-time, with a minimum commitment of three days per week. It can be performed remotely from anywhere in the UK, or on a hybrid basis if you are based near our London office. Salary is £30,000-£33,000 FTE depending on experience, plus up to £4,000 annual KPI-based bonus paid quarterly, and 5% portfolio commission on qualifying revenue from centres you introduce, activate or are formally allocated to manage and grow. Realistic first-year earnings are expected to be around £40,000 FTE, with higher earning potential in years two and three as portfolio commission builds. This is not a hard-sell role, but it is commercially focused. You will need to be proactive, confident starting conversations, comfortable following up opportunities and motivated by measurable growth. Full training and support will be provided when you start, including guidance on MTB's exam model, systems, sales approach and onboarding processes.
