Business Manager - Music Service, Vision Redbridge Culture & Leisure

Interview Date: week commencing 28th April 2025

Redbridge Music Service are looking for a Business Manager to join the team to support our day-to-day business operations. The role will require leading our non-teaching staff, and overseeing communication with schools, teachers and customers all wishing to use our service.

Job requirements:

• Income and expenditure monitoring and allocation
• Year-end processes and reporting
• Managing the financial systems
• Overseeing the direct debit portal and processing monthly receipts
• Managing the schools billing and debtor control
• Liaise with Vision's corporate finance and HR teams
• Responsible for the current business system (Speed Admin)
• Overseeing the teacher's administration
• Lead person for internal and external audits
• Lead a team providing the Customer Services function to schools and families.
• Support the Head of Music with budget monitoring and administration tasks
• Ensure timely and accurate billing to customers, along with debtor monitoring.

Skills and Experience Requirement

• Possession of a business/administration/accounting qualification
• Experience in budget monitoring
• Highly proficient in using Microsoft Office
• Experience in managing computerised office systems
• Substantial experience in managing processes and procedures
• Able to use innovative and practical solutions in business management
• Ability to produce/compile induction and lead on staff training
