Working closely with the Director and Board, the consultant will design and implement effective engagement methods, ensuring that artists, staff, trustees, partners and wider community voices meaningfully shape the process. The consultant will facilitate a board sub-group, delivering at least two half-day sessions to explore ideas and approaches collaboratively. A core element of the role involves reviewing and documenting WYPW's existing physical spaces to establish a clear baseline for future planning. The consultant will lead a minimum of three workshops with internal and external stakeholders, delivered through a mix of in-person and virtual sessions to maximise accessibility and participation. The role also includes coordinating two research visits to comparable UK organisations, integrating insight from additional team visits, and identifying relevant best practice. Using this evidence, the consultant will map out future physical space needs, provide indicative cost estimates and evaluate key opportunities and challenges. The consultant will produce a detailed final report summarising findings and recommendations. This report will offer practical and forward-looking solutions that will play a vital role in shaping the next phase of BluePRINT and supporting WYPW's organisational development. The total fee for this freelance contract is £5,000 inclusive of VAT, based on an estimated 12.5 days of work, calculated as 7.5 hours per day. Proven experience in space planning, organisational development, or consultancy in the cultural/creative sector. Strong facilitation, engagement and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including boards, teams, artists and community members. Experience conducting research visits and benchmarking best practice. Confidence in analysing complex information and producing practical, evidence-based recommendations. Ability to manage time effectively and deliver work within agreed deadlines and budget. Commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and confidentiality. An interest in printmaking, visual arts, and cultural heritage.
