CALL OUT - Nightlife Resident Events @ The Glitch, Waterloo, VAULT Creative Arts

The Glitch is offering opportunities for up to 6 producers of nightlife events to take up residency on Saturday nights at our venue!

WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Fun nightlife events that are unique and enticing - anything from big karaoke nights to themed parties!

• They should focus on being a party, and will include opportunities for attendees to participate and have fun (they likely won't be a "sit-down- and-watch" type show).

• Events can be new (even just a concept!) or well established - but they should show a clear ability to sell 60+ tickets per event.

• You'll need to produce and market your event, and bring anyone you need to check tickets at the door and run your tech (if needed).

• The vast majority of our audiences are queer-identifying. As such, we expect the vast majority of our residents events will be led by queer people, and will appeal to queer audiences (but are always open to other types of events too)!

YOU'LL RECEIVE

• A free, full-venue hire of The Glitch, either once a month or every 2 months, on a Saturday evening (around 8:30pm)

• We'll manage your ticketing and box-office (you'll need to check guests in on the night).

• There will be a full, staffed bar at the event.

• Additionally, residents will receive 15% off food and drink at The Glitch through their year in residence and free on-the-door comps to all shows at The Glitch.

THE FINANCES

• Complete hire of the venue for these events is free.

• For events that sell less than 50 tickets: Ticket income will be split, with 70% of the income going to you (the producer) and 30% of the income going to us (the venue).

• For events that sell more than 50 tickets: You get 100% of the ticket income!
