The Carn to Cove Programme Manager is responsible for the delivery of and overseeing the long-term planning of https://carntocove.co.uk/ - Carn to Cove Cornwall's rural touring scheme, and to connect opportunities for rural touring into our Creative Communities programme area. The postholder will maintain and develop partnerships with local volunteer promoters and make relationships with performers and companies to both champion local artists, and to bring a diverse range of work into Cornwall. This cross artform range of work includes theatre, music, dance, puppetry, film and spoken word and will involve local, national, and international companies. The role covers a range of different activities and requires experience of programming, artist liaison, partnership working and event promotion. The programme manager is part of the Creative Communities team at Creative Kernow and manages the Creative Communities Administrator. Attending showcases and festivals in the UK and further afield and pro-actively seeking innovative, diverse work is a key part of the role, as well as supporting both the performers and local promoters by attending a high proportion of our events in person.
