PAID OPPORTUNITY FOR PERFORMERS
This is an open casting call for performers to audition to be a part of an exciting new Arts Council funded project entitled 'The Haunting of Lenny Maggot': a two person show. This is a theatre performance and creative workshop experience aimed at children aged 5-11. The project is focused on an Anti-bullying theme and will include live performance, puppetry, poetry, and dance. The project will be toured directly to primary schools in Rotherham between April and June 2025. Audition Dates:

18th or 20th December, to be confirmed.

Venue - Rotherham Open Arts Renaissance, Westgate Chambers, 5 Westgate, Rotherham, S60 1AN.

Maximum audition time - 90 minutes.

Rates of Pay:

Rehearsals - £126 full Day.

Performance fee - £150 per day.

Workshop fee - £160 per day.

Total minimum fee per performer based on project schedule:

£4360.

There is scope for more earnings. We are working to add more dates to the schedule for April to June 2025. Performers will be kept up to date with regards to any additional engagements and pay.

Performers:

Essential:

Must be aged 18 years or older.

Must be in possession of up-to-date DBS certificate.

Must have legal right to work in the UK.

Preferred:

Experience in theatre performance for primary school aged children.

Some experience with puppetry.

Experience in delivering creative workshops.

Local to South Yorkshire, willing to commute.
