Chatsworth House Trust (CHT) has recently been successful in an application to The National Lottery Heritage Fund for the Delivery Phase for the Celebrating the Cascade project. Celebrating the Cascade is a c. £7.5m heritage project that embodies CHT's vision that Chatsworth is more than a House, it is a place of creativity and community and a driver of positive change. Delivered over 3 years, Celebrating the Cascade will restore Chatsworth's Grade I listed Cascade. The project will be a catalyst for engaging a wider community and will tell the story of Chatsworth's water artery, running from the moors to the river. Building on an interpretation plan written during the development stage of the project, the successful consultant will work with our community partners and colleagues to deliver on site, in person and digital interpretation that tells the story of the Cascade, Chatsworth and the people who care for it. Celebrating the Cascade project is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, this project is enabling the essential restoration and conservation work that is urgently required to save and restore Chatsworth's Grade I Cascade and engaging a much wider range of people with Chatsworth, ensuring they can see, feel and take part in the Chatsworth story. About Us A registered charity, Chatsworth House Trust was established in 1981 to maintain Chatsworth and its art collection for everyone to enjoy.
