Inkhead is a growing creative education company delivering screen-free storytelling and creative writing workshops in prep and independent schools across London. We are looking for freelance Children's Storytelling Facilitators to lead lively, discussion-based after-school clubs for students aged 7-13. Our workshops focus on imagination, confidence, collaboration and creative expression. Sessions might involve mystery games, character creation, collaborative storytelling, worldbuilding, group discussion and guided writing activities. This is not traditional tutoring. We are looking for facilitators who can create an engaging, warm and imaginative atmosphere where children feel excited to contribute ideas and develop their storytelling skills. The ideal candidate will be creative, reliable, confident managing groups of children and genuinely enthusiastic about books, stories and language. Many of our facilitators are writers, performers, educators, drama practitioners, workshop leaders or arts graduates. Sessions typically take place in London schools between 3pm and 6pm on weekdays during term time. Enhanced DBS required before work begins.
