Job Summary

We are looking for practitioners to deliver fun, engaging, and informative singing sessions to vulnerable adults and families. We take beneficiaries, carers, patients, or service users and transform them into creative learners with cultural influence and opportunity.

Job Description

Location: We have positions available in the following areas: London, Harrow, Essex, Calderdale and Doncaster
Salary: £40 per hour, ~6 hours a week
Contract Type: Freelance / part-time

We are looking for incredible communicators and practitioner to be the face of the organisation, delivering our 4 flagship programmes directly to our communities:

"We are Family" a parent and child multi-sensory singing programme, improving family wellbeing and understanding of how to support a child into school readiness

"Come Together" a beginner's community Choir, nurturing confidence, motivation and self-esteem

"Twist and Shout" a multisensory programme of singing, movement, and creativity, placed into the heart of a community care facility.

"Everyday People" a singing and lifeskills programme delivered to adults who are learning disabled.

This is a freelance position where the London based head office recognises your skills and your community as unique. We provide you with:

Essential:

-Performance qualifications and/or relevant teaching experience

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills

-Experience of working with vulnerable adults or families

-Singing to a high standard

Desirable:

-Qualifications in adult education

-Experience working within a community setting

-Experience working with quality assurance frameworks

-Driving licence and access to a car
