James Steel Productions is looking for an experienced Company Stage Manager to come on board for the workshop of an exciting new musical. Salary(pro rata): £750/week Hours: 6-day working weeks (Monday to Saturday) Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract - Full Time Key dates are as follow: Rehearsals 2nd to 12th March Industry Presentation 13th March Candidates should have professional experience in a company stage management role and the ability to lead a team effectively. Strong communication, organisational skills, and the ability to work calmly under pressure are required. Core Responsibilities Manage all stage management operations across rehearsals, technical rehearsals, and performances. Create, distribute, and maintain daily schedules, call sheets, and reports. Serve as primary liaison between, cast, crew, and production teams. Ensure adherence to health & safety protocols and support a safe working environment. Coordinate cast and crew logistics. Support Cast & Crew Wellbeing Skills Required Proven experience in company management within theatre, live performance, or touring productions. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Calm, flexible, and solution-oriented with the ability to adapt quickly to change.
