Job Description
Act as Show Manager for performances, taking responsibility for the overall running of concerts
Manage relationships with musicians
Oversee a team of ushers and drivers, and respond to audience needs during events
Ensure each concert runs smoothly
Manage musician travel requests
Prepare detailed tour itineraries and ensure all logistics are clearly communicated
Prepare vans and work closely with drivers and Concert Manager to ensure readiness for touring schedules
Take primary responsibility for the organisation's bar and merchandise operations
Conduct regular stock checks and manage inventory
Order CDs and merchandise as required and coordinate fulfilment, including posting items to customers
Liaise with bar staff and drivers to ensure smooth operations at each venue
Support the development of bar and merchandise strategy
Music & Concert Preparation
Prepare and manage digital music files on iPads for performances using forScore.
Ensure all materials are accurate and ready ahead of each concert
Staffing & Team Leadership
Lead recruitment of casual staff for ushering and bar roles
Provide on-site leadership and support to teams during events
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with the Operations Director on logistics and planning
Working cross department with the Marketing team to ensure concert publicity is optimised and show listings are correct.Job Requirements
Ideally 2+ years experience in a similar role
Excellent interpersonal skills a must
Adept at dealing with customers and problem solving
Strong leadership skills
