Job Summary

‘Help tell the story of one of Hampshire's most exciting creative community hubs.’ We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic and organised Creative Communications Coordinator to help tell the story of the Totton Creative Hub.

Job Description

We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic and organised Creative Communications Coordinator to help tell the story of the Totton Creative Hub. This is a part time, three day a week role (22.5 hours).

Working closely with our Artistic Director, Community Engagement Manager and wider team, you will create engaging content, build relationships across our community and help more people discover the creative opportunities we offer. From capturing the excitement of a drama club performance to promoting exhibitions, family activities and community events, you will play a key role in helping our work reach new audiences and celebrating the impact creativity has on people's lives.

This is an exciting time to join Fluid Motion. Thanks to major National Lottery investment, we are entering a new phase of growth and development, with ambitious plans to strengthen the Totton Creative Hub as a vibrant centre for creativity, wellbeing and community connection over the next five years.

We are looking for someone who enjoys storytelling, creating content and connecting with people. You don't need to know everything about marketing, but you should be confident communicating across a range of platforms and excited by the challenge of helping us build one of the most creative and welcoming community spaces in Hampshire.

Job Requirements

Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills.
Experience creating engaging content for social media, websites or digital communications.
Confidence using platforms such as Canva, Mailchimp and social media scheduling tools.
Experience updating websites using Squarespace or a similar content management system.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team.
Confidence building positive relationships with a range of people and organisations.
A creative eye and an interest in storytelling, photography, video or content creation.
A passion for community, creativity and the positive impact the arts can have on people's lives.

Desirable
Experience working within a charity, community, arts or cultural organisation.
Experience creating short-form video content for social media.
Experience using Mailchimp, Canva and Squarespace.
