Creative facilitator skilled in poetry to host a spoken words workshops with young people in Tower Hamlets during Easter school holidays.
We at Trapped in Zone One are hosting a youth programme this Easter holiday, providing FREE to access creative provision to young people in Tower Hamlets. We are keen to work with a creative facilitator skilled in poetry to work with us on the 8th April during the holidays, in a paid role for a 2-hour in-person workshop with young people, ideally skilled in spoken words and story telling with experience participating in community projects and knowledge of East London.
We are looking for a creative facilitator with good communication and time management skills, with a current enhanced DBS check eligible to work with young people, experience with: Facilitating creative workshops working with young people and communities. Strong background in the poetry field and the ability to translate that into engaging workshop activities. Proven experience in leading and guiding creative workshops for various age groups and abilities. Flexibility to adjust workshop plans and activities based on participant needs and learning styles. Commitment to creating inclusive and accessible environments for all participants. Ability to plan and deliver workshop sessions effectively. Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and adapt to unforeseen circumstances.
The creative facilitator will be working alongside Trapped in Zone One with young people in Tower Hamlets hosting a workshop during Easter school holidays.
