The Curator of Diverse Perspectives will act as the museum's principal expert on how we represent the global majority's experience of healthcare and medicine. You will bring their voices into our collection, exhibitions and programme. You will help us develop a more inclusive practice and your work will leave a lasting legacy on how we collect and tell stories. Alongside our Curator, you will be responsible for researching content and telling stories through our galleries and temporary exhibition programme. One of your first projects will be to work closely with our exhibition team to develop and realise our forthcoming exhibition of anatomical illustration. With mentoring and support, you will also curate an exhibition about skin. Alongside our Community Co-producer, you will work closely with our local global majority community who live and work in Leeds. You will develop our co-curation practice and embed their voices and experiences in our collection and programme. Through doing this, you will help make the museum a place that better represents their lives, history and hopes for the future.
