Customer Service Assistant

Fixed Term Contract until December 2026
Salary:
£11,647.46 (£23,614.02 FTE)
Hours: 18.25 hours per week (working pattern below)
Location: Kingsteignton Library
Closing date: 9am, Friday 27th February 2026
Interview date: Wednesday 4th March 2026 at Newton Abbot Library (Passmore Edwards Centre)

An exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Assistant to join a forward-thinking organisation where you will enjoy an exciting challenge delivering an excellent frontline service to customers devising and running fundraising events, activities and community support. We would welcome a new team member who is creative, imaginative, organised and customer focused.

Working Pattern:

Week 1 (20 hrs)

Monday: 1:45pm - 5:15pm (3.5)
Wednesday: 9:45am - 5:15pm (6.5)
Friday: 9:45am - 5:15pm (6.5)
Saturday: 9:45am - 1:15pm (3.5)

Week 2 (16.5 hrs)
Monday: 1:45pm - 5:15pm (3.5)
Wednesday: 9:45am - 5:15pm (6.5)
Friday: 9:45am - 5:15pm (6.5)

Total Weekly Average: 18.25 hours
