About Us: Join the Petite Performers family, where we provide fun, imaginative dance and drama classes for children aged 16 months to 7 years! Our curriculum, which includes ballet, tap, hip-hop, and musical theatre, is designed to boost confidence, creativity, and coordination, giving young children the perfect introduction to performing arts.

Job Description: We are looking for enthusiastic teachers who can engage and inspire little ones in North and West London. All syllabus, materials, and training will be provided, so whether you're a seasoned teacher or a professional dancer looking to transition into teaching, this role is perfect for you! What matters most to us is your ability to build a strong rapport with young children and your genuine passion for helping them grow.

Hourly Rate: £25-£35 per hour depending on experience

Available Hours: Thursday to Sunday (approx 10 hours). Open to someone taking all hours, or splitting them with other applicants

Job Requirements

  • Experience in dance or drama (teaching experience with children is a plus, but not essential).
  • Passionate about working with young children.
  • A friendly and patient approach, with the ability to engage and nurture young learners.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • DBS check required.
  • Flexibility to teach during weekdays and weekends.

Job Responsibilities

  • Teach ballet, tap, hip-hop, or musical theatre to children aged 16 months to 7 years.
  • Deliver classes with energy, creativity, and structure, ensuring all children feel valued and supported.
  • Build meaningful connections with the children, encouraging their confidence and progress.
  • Maintain a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.
  • Engage in person with parents/guardians, providing feedback and updates on their child's progress.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure age-appropriate, high-quality lessons.
