Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dance Instructor to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring students of all ages and all capabilities. As a Dance Instructor at RNDA, you will play a pivotal role in developing students' dance skills, fostering creativity, and fostering a safe and inclusive space.

Specifications:

  • We are looking for teachers across the UK's major cities, with a priority for Birmingham and Brighton, as they are the next two cities to open.
  • We work in terms of 12-14 weeks. Stability is important to us and our members, so if you are a good fit and you enjoy it, and provided the class is successful, we'd employ for consecutive terms.
  • Classes are usually 1h15-1h30, and we try to quickly expend to 2 ability levels for per subject, meaning that you'd teach two classes back to back. (so hours are between 1:15-2:30 per week).
  • Starting rate is £35/hour
  • Our classes are mostly weekday evenings (from 6:30pm until 9pm usually), and weekends, and the times slots are very dependent on studio space, so please do get in touch with us so we can discuss your availability and we will try to make it work.

You will need to have relevant insurance.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Dance Instructor is required.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more dance styles with the ability to teach others effectively.

Job Responsibilities

Duties

  • Deliver engaging and structured dance lessons across various styles, including ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, and more.
  • Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
  • Prepare lesson plans that align with the studio's curriculum and objectives.
  • Organise and participate in studio events and performances to showcase students' talents.
