About the role

We are looking for an experienced Database Specialist who can join the Infrastructure Team to help to continue to deliver on our recovery of services, following the well publicised cyber attack of October 2023.

Purpose of this role:

• To specify, design, install, configure, upgrade, perform data migration and hygiene checks, administer, monitor and maintain database(s) and associated software products, in support of operational system(s) and the development environment to support the Library's business objectives.
• To support and enhance application, service and operational development activities within Technology.
• To pursue continuous improvement of process and service quality in this area, incorporating best practice from industry, commerce and the HE sectors, as appropriate.
