The Deputy Head of Lighting, alongside the Head of Lighting, will provide an effective and flexible service to ensure the delivery of lighting requirements for all in-house, co-productions and the visiting programme.

The Deputy Head of Lighting, alongside the Head of Lighting, will provide an effective and flexible service to ensure the delivery of lighting requirements for all in-house, co-productions and the visiting programme.
- Proven experience in a professional lighting role, with experience in theatre/live events environment preferred
- Experience in programming and operating lighting control systems
- Practical experience with rigging, focusing, and maintenance of theatrical lighting and video equipment
- Calm under pressure with the agility to respond swiftly to live-performance demands.
- Good problem-solving skills and broad technical awareness
- Strong understanding of relevant health and safety legislation
- To support the Head of Lighting (HoL) to provide an effective and flexible service to ensure the delivery of lighting requirements for all in-house, co-productions and the visiting programme.
- To ensure delivery to the highest standard of work and to oversee the delivery of the health and safety policy regarding TRP Lighting facilities.
- Responsibility for the leadership and organisation of lighting show running teams alongside the HoL.
- Premises and equipment: responsibility for the maintenance and good housekeeping of areas, equipment and stock to high standards and within the requirements of health and safety legislation.
- Personnel: the development of Lighting Technicians staff through appraisal and training.
- Budgetary: to deliver projects within budgets as agreed with managers.
- To participate and lead get-ins and get-outs of in-house, co-produced and visiting productions as required, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of lighting equipment
