Job Summary

A leading creative design agency are looking for a multi-skilled designer to develop ambitious designs for a variety of public-realm activations. This is an excellent opportunity to work on bespoke, memorable, eye-catching designs for some of the busiest and most iconic public spaces in the country.

Personal Requirements & Skills

The Designer should be:

  • Confident, friendly, and willing to collaborate.

  • Have a keen design eye and attention to detail.

  • Comfortable taking initiative as well as instructions.

  • Interested in understanding the installation, construction, materials & finishes required of public realm design.

Understanding and confidence with the following software is essential:

  • Photoshop

  • PowerPoint

  • SketchUp Pro or Blender

*Experience with Twinmotion and Procreate is desirable, but both are easy to learn and can be taught by Senior Creative Designer.

Job Requirements

You'll be:

  • Confident, friendly, and keen to collaborate.

  • Confident in a combination of Photoshop, Illustrator and PowerPoint.

  • Have 3D modelling skills, preferable in SketchUp Pro or Blender

  • Comfortable taking initiative as well as instructions.

  • Interested in understanding the installation, construction, materials & finishes required of public realm design.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Attend site-visits and take clear 'Background' photographs.

  • Research previous or similar projects, gather inspiration, visual moodboards & source potential products.

  • Create 3D Models in SketchUp/Twinmotion or Blender and visuals in Photoshop/Procreate.

  • Formation (and updating) of design presentations:

  • Creating large-scale print-ready artwork

  • Provide input and feedback on the physical prototyping, build and installation.

  • Review design successes and failures. Apply learnings to new designs.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Save and clearly organise content in design files.

  • Attend weekly meetings with Senior Creative Designer to review progress, discuss workflow and plan next-steps.

  • Attend project-specific meetings and briefings.
