About Oxford International Song Festival Oxford International Song Festival is a globally renowned celebration of classical song, dedicated to world-class performances, artist development, and innovative programming. Over the past two decades, we have built an outstanding reputation through our annual festival, the world's largest of its kind, presenting over 70 curated events each October. Beyond the festival, we nurture emerging talent through our Young Artist Programme, inspire the next generation with our Schools Programme, and champion contemporary classical song through our Associate Composer scheme and Song Futures commissioning initiative. Recognised for our bold and diverse programming, we received the prestigious Royal Philharmonic Society Music Award in 2015 and were shortlisted again in 2023. Each year, we bring together over 200 international artists, creating a dynamic platform for classical song and new music. About the role We seek a dynamic and experienced Development Director to lead our fundraising efforts. This pivotal role will focus on individual giving, donor relations, and trust and grant applications, ensuring the festival's long-term financial sustainability. The Development Director will play a crucial part in growing our donor base, managing key supporter relationships, and driving strategic fundraising initiatives in line with our ambitious future plans, including preparations for the 2028 Schubert bicentenary celebrations.
