Job Summary

Are you passionate about supporting the arts, developing strategic partnerships, and driving organisational growth through diverse funding streams? We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Development Manager to join our team at Ledbury Poetry.

Job Description

The Development Manager at Ledbury Poetry is a pivotal role at an exciting time in the journey of our organisation. Following our successful first phase of the redevelopment of the Poetry House (Ledbury's iconic Barrett Browning Institute), we're embarking on an ambitious programme of capital development, audience growth, and artistic innovation.

You will lead on implementing our fundraising strategy, with responsibility for securing income from trusts and foundations, individual donors, corporate sponsors, and public funders including Arts Council England. Your expertise will ensure the financial sustainability of Ledbury Poetry, enabling us to continue delivering our renowned annual festival and year-round programme of events, while supporting our capital development ambitions.

Working closely with the Director and broader team, you'll also develop our individual giving and membership schemes, nurturing relationships with supporters and creating compelling cases for support. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on a nationally recognised arts organisation during a transformative period.
