We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Development Manager to lead and grow our fundraising initiatives across individual giving, patronage, corporate partnerships, and project support.

- developing and implementing strategies to increase individual giving and donations.
- designing and executing plans to expand the Patrons' scheme and ensure they remain connected to the theatre's activities.
- Identifying and developing relationships with corporate sponsors.
- overseeing the fundraising pipeline and identifying areas for growth.
- leading on the planning and delivery of fundraising events.
- managing budgets.
- working with the Development Committee and administering the meetings.
- managing the Development Officer and other junior roles as appropriate.

- Proven fundraising experience with success in meeting/exceeding targets
- Skilled in managing donor campaigns and growing giving through stewardship
- Experience in budget management and financial tracking
- Background in arts or cultural sector preferred
- Event planning experience focused on donor engagement
- Knowledge of data protection and fundraising regulations
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships
- Creative problem-solving and sound decision-making skills
- Staff management experience with a focus on performance
- Skilled in campaign delivery, data analysis, and strategy development
- Proficient in databases and Excel
- Excellent organisational skills and deadline management
- High numeracy and budget handling ability
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Lead strategic fundraising campaigns, focusing on low-level gifts and capital projects.
- Grow Patron scheme through recruitment, stewardship, and event engagement.
- Develop compelling cases for support in collaboration with Artistic and Community teams.
- Cultivate corporate partnerships and create tailored sponsorship proposals.
- Analyse donor trends and manage fundraising pipeline using Spektrix.
- Plan and deliver donor events aligned with organisational goals.
- Maintain fundraising budgets and income forecasts.
- Support Development Committee meetings and liaise with Trustees.
- Line manage Development Officer, setting objectives and supporting growth.
- Contribute to trust applications, legacy giving, and overall fundraising strategy.
- Flexibility required for occasional evening/weekend events and duties.
