Development Officer, The National Gallery

The National Gallery has a fantastic opportunity for a Development Officer, Major Gifts. This role will support the Major Gifts and Legacies as well as Principal Gifts teams to nurture and develop high value, long-lasting relationships with individual donors, philanthropists and trusts and foundations.

The role will support the Development Managers, Senior Development Managers and Heads of these teams across their whole portfolio of tasks and activities relating to fundraising from major donors. It will involve drafting, formatting and designing case for support documents for supporters and potential new donors, including exhibition and other proposals and reports as well as administrative support across the teams. You will be responsible for a focused portfolio of individual donors from which to secure four- and five-figure donations in support of the National Gallery for all areas of the organisation's work.
