The development producer will receive a fee of £693 for 30 hours of work. The development producer will: > Read the script and listen to the songs and suggest the best course of action for performance/further development. We are looking for a producer who has particular experience in pitching musicals, developing pitching material, and is well connected in the commercial/Producing Theatre space. The producer should have experience of seeing a professional musical theatre production through to performance in a 500+ seat venue. The R&D is running from 25-29th August. We do not expect the Development Producer to attend the R&D but prep work will need to be completed before the R&D and some work to be completed afterwards. > Assist in putting together a pitch deck.
> Assist in contacting production companies, funders, commercial producers, Artistic Director etc regarding the project's development.
