The Digital Content Manager enhances Opera Rara’s brand presence and charitable impact through the creation of various forms of digital content and communications connecting with Opera Rara’s local and global audiences.

Position: Digital Content Manager

Reports to: Development and Communications Director

Hours: 5 days a week (1 FTE)

Holiday: 25 days

Salary: £45,000

Job Purpose

The Digital Content Manager will create and distribute digital content as part of our strategy to enhance Opera Rara's brand presence and charitable impact, engage audiences, and drive traffic across multiple platforms. Managing Opera Rara's content strategy and digital partnerships, the Manager will ensure that content aligns with our business goals, maintains brand voice, and leverages data-driven insights for optimization. In addition to generating and managing content, the Manager will develop and implement a Social Media strategy in collaboration with the Development and Communications Director and will plan and create print and digital communications and marketing to engage with Opera Rara's local and global audiences.

  1. Develop, design, write, and produce compelling print and digital content
  2. Lead content planning and scheduling of content
  3. Manage and grow digital content partnerships
  4. Shape and implement integrated marketing strategies
  5. Manage proofreading and editing of all content
  6. Monitor ticket sales performance and reporting
  7. Maintain a consistent and compelling brand voice
  8. Champion accessibility and inclusion in all digital communications
  9. Use analytics tools to evaluate content performance
  10. Manage and maintain website content
  11. Ensure GDPR compliance
