Job Description

Your responsibilities

  • Ownership over ticket sales growth for our existing events and helping launch new experiences and products into our community.
  • Line management of Social Media Content & Community Marketer and reporting to company leadership on marketing and sales work
  • Create paid advertising strategy and run all paid digital advertising campaigns across Meta, Google, Tiktok and any emerging platforms such as Pinterest, Snapchat etc.
  • Continually audit and improve our marketing and analytics tracking to ensure consistent and reliable data, debugging and solving any issues with the support of our developers where required.
  • Create and manage a website conversion rate optimisation (CRO) strategy, implementing an ongoing testing regime to understand and improve key macro and micro conversions and ultimately improve the effectiveness of our marketing funnels.
  • Management of website content.
  • Work with our analytics platforms as well as session recording and variant testing tools to attribute revenue to marketing efforts, provide insights to the business on customer behaviour, and uncover opportunities for growth and efficiency.
  • Create and operate a systematic approach to experimenting with marketing/growth ideas and rapidly scaling successful ones.
  • Collaborate with content marketer with technical SEO guidance (eg information schemas) and in analysing keyword opportunities.
  • Collaborate with content marketer on content strategy and analysis to improve content provided for advertising purposes.
  • Making minor edits to creative and copy provided for advertising purposes.
  • Collaborate with product and operations team members to embed marketing into our digital experiences, events and physical products to improve customer retention and referrals.

Job Requirements

  • Depth of Knowledge: 5+ years experience in digital / growth marketing and 2+ years line managing a colleague.
  • Media Buying: Extensive experience in developing, executing, scaling and optimising Meta ad accounts with spends above £50k per month. Additional experience with TikTok, Google, Snapchat is a bonus.
  • Technical: Ability to work with websites, tag managers, ad platforms and to setup and test data flows and rectify any issues. Can interface effectively with developers to solve complicated issues. Knowledge of privacy limitations on tracking and basic technical SEO requirements.
  • Analytics & Data Science: Evidence of working with analytics software to attribute revenue to marketing efforts, understand user behaviour and use insights to drive action on improving conversion rates and marketing efficiency. Must have experience in Google Analytics, GTM and CRM/CDPs. Ideally has experience in some of the following: SQL, Tableau, Mixpanel.

Job Responsibilities

  • Scientific Marketing: Experience using scientific approaches to marketing; managing hypotheses and experiments that when systematically executed can uncover opportunities.
  • Customer Understanding & Psychology: ability to understand and empathise with our customers and target audiences, and utilise psychological principles to get people to take actions like registering or purchasing.
  • Organisation Of Complexity: effective in organisation of complex combinations of options for paid marketing (e.g. combinations of copy, creative, platforms, placements, audiences, landing pages).
  • Copy Editing: Ability to edit copy to make it conversion focussed.
  • Email/SMS: Experience creating and optimising automated and campaign based email and SMS to drive action and conversions.
