About the Role

As the Digital Marketing Manager (Email, CRM, and E-commerce) at BIMM University, you'll lead innovative strategies to enhance student recruitment, retention, and engagement. This role is pivotal in ensuring our marketing efforts are data-driven, personalised, and aligned with institutional priorities. You'll also support the promotion of short courses and other revenue-generating programs, playing a key role in our broader marketing strategy.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement an integrated digital marketing strategy focusing on email marketing, CRM-driven campaigns, and e-commerce optimisation.
  • Lead the creation and execution of email marketing campaigns using automation, segmentation, and personalisation to maximise engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Admissions team to leverage CRM data for targeted campaigns, ensuring a seamless customer journey.
  • Enhance e-commerce content and functionality to drive transaction values, bookings, and engagement, while monitoring and reporting performance metrics.
  • Oversee the email marketing calendar to ensure alignment with university-wide events and campaigns.
  • Provide strategic leadership and expert guidance in email communications across departments, fostering strong stakeholder collaboration.
  • Analyse performance data to evaluate the ROI of campaigns and continuously optimise strategies.
  • Manage and develop the Email Marketing Coordinators, ensuring a high-performing team.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and industry standards in all email marketing activities.

Job Requirements

  • A degree in a relevant subject or significant professional experience in marketing or communications.
  • Proven expertise in developing and leading digital marketing strategies with a focus on email, CRM data utilisation, and e-commerce.
  • Exceptional copywriting and editing skills with the ability to tailor content to diverse audiences while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Strong leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing teams.
  • Proficiency in Dotdigital or similar email marketing platforms, including advanced features such as automation and segmentation.
  • Experience with A/B testing, campaign optimisation, and data analysis to improve performance.
  • Design proficiency with tools like InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite to guide the visual elements of email campaigns.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior staff and external agencies.
