This role involves collaborating closely with both the writers and actors, facilitating the creative process, and ensuring the voices and stories as well as the script's structure and intent are respected. We have estimated this to be 3 days work at £250 per day. This rate can be negotiable depending on experience. We welcome applications from directors at various stages of their career, particularly those with a passion for supporting and amplifying underrepresented voices. Lived Experience: A personal understanding of the challenges faced by women of colour in the creative industry, with a deep respect for diverse cultural narratives. Collaborative: Ability to work closely with writers at different stages of their careers, offering support, insight, and creative guidance. Creative Vision: A strong sense of how to bring written work to life through performance, with a sensitivity to the nuances of storytelling, particularly from marginalised voices. Experience: While previous directing experience is valued, we are open to emerging directors who show promise and a commitment to this important work.
