We are recruiting for 3 practitioners to join a cohort of facilitators learning and delivering our Paul Hamlyn funded programme, 'The Magic Storybox Approach to Primary Curriculum' Facilitators will work in two school settings, working alongside teaching staff for half a day per setting every other week (approx. 24 half day sessions overall). The cohort will also take part in paid CPD sessions and group review calls. Total expected commitment is around 30 days. A Drama in Education practitioner working with teachers and young learners (ages 4 to 7) should have a mix of essential and desirable training and attributes to effectively engage children and support their learning through drama. The anticipated contract fee for this will be in the region of £7,000. Initial contract for 12 months with opportunity for extension for an additional 12 months following review. Facilitators will be employed on a freelance basis and will be expected to provide details of their own insurance and DBS check. A Drama in Education practitioner working with teachers and young learners (ages 4 to 7) should have a mix of essential and desirable training and attributes to effectively engage children and support their learning through drama. Candidates should anticipate working in two school settings throughout the academic year, participating in cohort learning activity, working alongside practitioners and school staff. Candidates that are successfully shortlisted will be invited to deliver a short 20-30 minute task on 10th July 2025, working with a group of EYFS/KS1 children from our programme. This will take place at a school in Stoke on Trent. Appointed candidates will be informed and invited to an initial cohort breakfast meeting on Wednesday 16th July 2025, 8.30 to 10.00am.
