We are looking for a Drumkit teacher to join our team at our Headquarters in Stoke Newington, London

Job Description

Position: Drum Teacher
Type: Self-employed / Freelance
Location: Pelican Music N16 (Stoke Newington)
Day: Flexible in choice, but will be required to adhere to a specific day.
This post is offered on a part-time, hourly basis and is available w/c Monday 14th September onwards.
Pelican Music N16 is open Monday-Saturday 10am-7pm.

Hourly Rate:
1:1 Tuition - £35.40/hour
Group Tuition - £46.00/hour

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed educators who are excited about joining a growing company as we continue to expand.
Job Description

We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic music educators to join Pelican Music at our new teaching premises in N16. We have multiple teaching programmes available and are looking for teachers who can deliver any of the programmes below:

1:1 Instrumental Tuition: For students predominantly aged between 4-16 years, open to teachers of all instruments.

This is for a guaranteed 2 evenings a week, with additional full days within our schools likely.

Job Requirements

Requirements

Have or be studying towards a degree in music, or hold DipABRSM or similar in teaching
Grade 8 or equivalent standard on your first instrument
Competency in music theory, improvisation and sight reading
At least 6 months' experience in teaching children
A clean criminal record and a current enhanced DBS check (formerly known as the CRB check).
Have the right to work in the UK
Be a member of the Musicians Union, Incorporated Society of Musicians, or have your own public liability insurance.
A proficiency with keyboard skills is also seen as a positive.
