Description
As a Duty Manager it is your duty to supervise all floor activities including assisting visitors and supporting the Junior Duty Managers and Floor Crew. The Duty Manager plays a key role in the efficient and effective operation of Moco's museum in London. This position oversees the day-to-day activities of the museum, ensuring the highest standards of visitor experience, crew management, and facility maintenance. The Duty Manager collaborates closely with various departments to coordinate operations and enhance the overall functionality of the museum.
This role is open to candidates living in Greater London only.
- Applicants must currently reside in Greater London.
- At least 4 years of experience in a comparable people management role, ideally within a tourist attraction or hospitality venue. Within those years, at least 2 years in a supervisory/management role (i.e leading teams, managing schedules, coordinating with other departments).
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on building and motivating teams
- Fluency in English is required, other languages will be a plus
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with an ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving
- Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays
- Degree-level education
- Supervise visitor operations, lead and train Museum Hosts, manage performance, coordinate DM meetings, resolve issues, and promote a positive policy-compliant work environment, and enhance employee satisfaction.
- Coordinate daily operations, liaise with departments, enforce health & safety, and oversee indoor/outdoor cleanliness to ensure smooth, safe, and well-maintained museum operations.
- Manage schedules, company clothing, and operational procedures; coordinate with Marketing, Sales, and Finance on partnerships, promotions, budgets, and museum processes.
