Job start date: w/c 6 January 2025. Essential: Desirable: Venue Operations You will manage evening and weekend courses, handle bookings/events and customer inquiries. Your duties include classroom setup, Front of House supervision, and maintaining excellent customer service. You must be prepared for emergency response and first aid situations. Technical Support You will support performance technical needs, including get-in and get-out operations. This involves basic sound and lighting operation for smaller events, while assisting professional technicians during larger shows. Equipment safety is essential. Building Management You are responsible for venue security, maintenance, and closing procedures. This includes building checks, inventory management, facility audits, and ensuring health and safety compliance. Additional Duties You will attend weekly team meetings (Wednesday 9:30-11:00, remote option), support social media activities, and occasionally cover for the Head of Operations. Job Description
Actual Salary: £18,000 p.a (0.6 - 21h per week) - £24,000 p.a (0.8 FTE - 28h per week)
- Monday, Thursday, Friday: Late afternoon/evening shifts
- Saturday: Daytime (variable during events/shows)
- Sunday: Off (except during productions)
- Wednesday: 9:30-11:00 AM - Required weekly team meeting (can attend remotely)
- Additional hours compensated as Time Off In Lieu
* Manage evening/weekend course operations and participant experience
* Handle course bookings and inquiries efficiently
* Set up classrooms and equipment for classes
* Maintain strong presence and deliver excellent customer service
* Prepare facilities according to programme requirements
* Support technical operations for smaller performances and events
* Assist with get-ins and get-outs for productions
* Basic knowledge of sound and lighting equipment required (cables, basic operation)
* Work alongside professional technicians during larger productions
