Early Years Spanish teacher for Spanish lessons in nurseries in West London

Job Description

We are excited to be looking for a dedicated Spanish speaker to teach our fun Spanish lessons for children age 2-4 years old in our West London nursery in Twickenham.

We provide lesson plans, songs and ideas and source and offer work for you. Currently we need Spanish speakers in West London to start today. All resources are provided by us. You will accompany us to one of our classes and see how we do it as well as having a training session.

The starting salary is £36 per hour and our current vacancy is for 1 hour lesson (2 x 30 minute lessons) on Wednesdays but this will increase as experience is gained.

Job Requirements

The right candidate will be:

  • A Spanish speaker or have a good command of the Spanish language

  • Able to connect with young children and command their attention in large groups

  • Self employed but supervised with our curriculum

  • Experienced in working with children under 5

  • Willing to travel to different nurseries in London

Desirable criteria:

  • Acting, singing or entertainment background is of particular interest but not essential

  • Recognised teacher/activity or coaching qualification preferred but not essential

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service is preferred

Job Responsibilities

Teaching Spanish through song to West London Nurseries:

Your sessions are 30 minutes long each and are repeated twice in different age groups at the same nursery on Wednesday afternoons from 3.30-4.30.

This job is suited to someone who has a good command of the Spanish language and who can sing and perform with energy, charisma and, of course, must love connecting with and inspiring children.
